Precious In His Eyes

The Bible says precious in the eyes of the Lord are the death of His saints. God doesn't show partiality in death. If a believer dies as a martyr or of old age we tend to hold the martyrs death in higher esteem. Though the believer died of old age and had a very influential spirit lead ministry. We tend to recognize the old age death but we respect the death of the martyr more. God doesn't hold 1 death higher over another because scripture says, "precious in the eyes of the Lord are the death of His saints.



Fun

The gift of having fun and enjoying life is truly in Christ and from the Father. We should by all means not have fun in this life because this world's foundation is built upon sin and it's unstable. So why are we having fun in a sin ridden world? Literary we should all be dead, hanging on our own crosses, dying for our own sins, and be in Hell. But that's not the case because of Christ. He died for our sins, hung on the cross, went to Hell and back, and was resurrected. Christ took our punishment so we wouldn't have to take it ourselves. This is why having fun in life is a gift and this is why enjoying life is a gift because God has given it to us whether you're saved or not. But the most rewarding and enjoyable life ever is to live for Christ because the possibilities are endless in His will for your life. Having fun and enjoying life are good things. And what does scripture say about good things? Well for starters it says "All good things come down from the Father of lights" and also "If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good things to them that ask Him?" and also "Inheritance is from a father but a prudent wife is from the Lord" and also "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord." And is that a good thing to have a prudent and virtuous wife if you are married or desire to be married?  I seen it isn't a struggle to have fun and having fun isn't a chore. you are just having fun and that's a good thing. God knows how to bless with good things and that's a good thing. God has given us fun to lighten the seriousness of life. So when your having fun and enjoying life, God has allowed you to because He has given you the gift to do it and that is an awesome mystery of God. 



Lamps

Light is like a bullet it doesn't stop until it hits something. The Bible says our souls are lamps to the Lord and the Holy Spirit illuminated this to me. If our souls are lamps to the Lord, then some lamps are cut off with no light bulb in them to cut on and also unplugged to the power source. (Some have a light bulb in them but are not plugged into the power source. Some are plugged into the power source but have no light bulb in them.) Other souls who truly know Christ their lamps are cut on, plugged into the power source, and have a light bulb in them that can never blow out. It's like light promotes life and darkness promotes death; either the Lord is searching in the darkness of our soul or the light of our soul either way He's searching. Now if our souls are lamps to the Lord then God knows whose are His and who isn't because either our souls are lamps with the light on or lamps with the light off.  






Inspire Me

What inspires me? What about God that hasn't inspired me? Just who He is in my life and what He has done for me is inspiration enough. I look at all He created and everyday He shows me something new about Himself or He tells me more about Himself through people, nature, the atmosphere, and even the stars, planets, and space. God is mainly my inspiration, who else besides Him would I truly look up to and never be disappointed?
